We have loving dubbed Mere-bear the toe terrorist. She is a monster in a walker and inflicts serious damage to all who dare to go barefoot. She loves her walker and so last night when the VBS nursery worker put her in the walker no one thought much about it. That is until it collapsed into a heap with my 8 month old in it. Thankfully, she is fine but the walker was a total loss. Only a child of mine could destroy something so completely.
This morning the girls and I played outside for a while. Our backyard would be lots of fun but for the mosquitoes that consider me lunch. To prevent these attacks, I purchased a ThermaCell mosquito repellent. It is a handy little gadget that makes it possible for me to enjoy the outdoors. While outside this morning, Kate noticed that a mosquito was on my leg and suggested that I go and get the Bugalizer. Where does she come up with this stuff!

Sandals were Freakles
I spent a considerable amount of time on Saturday trying to remember what Kate called sandals when she first began talking. Finally, on Sunday it came to me that sandals were freakles. It seems that everyday something funny happens here. Either Kate says something that makes me laugh hysterically or Meredith hits a new milestone. That is why I am now blogging. So that there is a reference I can go to when I can't remember what sandals were called freakles when Kate was 2. When you read this I hope my girls bring you as much joy as they bring me.
